TrackerWP (“the app”) is developed by Slava Abakumov (“we”, “us”, or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains how the app handles information. In short: TrackerWP does not collect, store, or share any personal data about you.
1. Information We Collect
We do not collect any personal information. TrackerWP has no user accounts, no login, and no registration. We do not operate any servers that receive or store your data, and we have no access to how you use the app.
2. Data Stored on Your Device
All information you create in the app stays on your device, including:
- The plugins and themes you choose to track
- Historical statistics and snapshots the app records over time
- Your settings and notification preferences
This data is stored locally using standard Apple frameworks and never leaves your device except as described in “Third-Party Services” below. If you delete the app, this data is removed with it. Data may also be included in your personal device backups (for example, iCloud or Finder backups), which are controlled by you and governed by Apple’s policies.
3. Third-Party Services
To show you plugin and theme statistics, TrackerWP contacts the public WordPress.org API (api.wordpress.org) and loads related images (such as icons and banners) from WordPress.org. When the app makes these requests, it sends the search terms you type and the plugin or theme identifiers you look up, and WordPress.org’s servers receive standard technical information that any website receives, such as your IP address.
These requests are made directly from your device to WordPress.org to provide the app’s core functionality. We do not receive, log, or store this information. Your use of WordPress.org services is subject to the WordPress.org privacy policy.
Images loaded from WordPress.org are cached locally on your device to improve performance and reduce data usage. This cache stays on your device.
4. Analytics, Advertising, and Tracking
TrackerWP contains no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party tracking. We do not use any software development kits (SDKs) that collect data about you, and the app does not track you across other apps or websites.
5. Notifications
If you enable notifications, TrackerWP generates them locally on your device (for example, when a plugin or theme reaches a milestone or releases a new version). Notification content is created on your device and is not sent to us or any third party.
6. Children’s Privacy
TrackerWP does not collect personal information from anyone, including children. The app is suitable for users of all ages.
7. Data Security
Because we do not collect or transmit your personal data, there is no personal information held by us that could be exposed. Information stored on your device is protected by your device’s built-in security.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
